Positioning Checklist for the Pacer Gait Trainer

January 19, 2016 by Elena Noble, MPT

A therapist helps properly position a child in a dynamic gait trainer using a checklistRifton’s Dynamic Pacer has much to offer in the way of positioning options for people with disabilities. With three choices of bases, dynamic upper frame functionality, a multi-positioning saddle and so many other prompts and supports, clients can experience the best positioning possible for successful gait training.

Therapists know how tough it can be to remember each client’s specific accessories and settings, especially if their Pacer is used for multiple clients. That is why we have prepared a handy, downloadable checklist for documenting these settings. We’re happy to offer it here.
