Richard Johnson, International Sales Manager

Richard Johnson is in charge of international sales for Rifton. He graduated from Albany Medical Center School of Nursing in 1974 and began working with Rifton Equipment in 1983. His work with Rifton for over twenty-five years has included product design and manufacture, quality assurance, employee training and audits, and sales management.

Richard has provided extensive consumer education and conducted numerous equipment demonstrations, workshops and in-services throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. His knowledge of the features of the Rifton products is based on an in-depth understanding of product design. His comprehensive expertise regarding the clinical application of Rifton products includes knowledge of accessory use, sizing, and an understanding of the issues of medical justification, funding, and reimbursement.

When Richard is not doing all these remarkable things, you’ll find him fishing the mountain streams and lakes around his home in the Catskill mountains, or at his back-yard grill.
