Nadine Wallace, PTA

Nadine Wallace attended the Community College of Allegheny County’s PTA program in 1994. She began her work at The Rehabilitation Institute and UPMC Rehabilitation Hospital. Since 2004, she has worked at The Day School at The Children’s Institute. She became a MOVE International Trainer in June 2010. Past-time interests include music, hiking and relaxing at the beach. 

Kathryn Burgwin, PT

Kathryn Burgwin graduated from the University of Maryland’s PT program in 1985. She has worked at the Children’s Institute in Pittsburgh, PA since 1985. Currently she is the lead Physical Therapist for the Day School The Children’s Institute. She became a MOVE International Trainer in June 2010. Besides her work, she has a wide range of interests including yoga, animals and spending time at the beach.  

Jessica Burton, PT

Jessica graduated from the Russell Sage College in Troy NY with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 1999. She has worked in the PT department in The Day School at The Children’s Institute as a PT since 2004. When not at work, she enjoys kayaking and spelunking.

The Day School at The Children’s Institute is an approved private school in Western PA.  We have 186 students with 27 classrooms. We provide a school program for students with multiple disabilities and for students with autism.
