Karen Tartick, PT

Karen Tartick, PTKaren has been providing physical therapy services for over 35 years in a variety of pediatric settings, including early intervention, acute care, NICU, and in both the North Carolina and New York school systems. She graduated from the State University of NY at Buffalo in 1984 and is currently practicing in Durham, NC.

Karen is an APTA Advanced Clinical Instructor, and serves as mentor for the school-based portion of the pediatric residency program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is adjunct faculty. Karen contributed to several fact sheets on behalf of the APTA Pediatrics School SIG. Karen presents at APTA conferences and nationwide on various topics, including autism and physical therapy intervention in the school setting.
