Cathy Ripmaster, MSPT

Cathy Ripmaster, MSPTCathy Ripmaster, MSPT graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. She currently works as a pediatric school-based physical therapist at Lincoln Developmental Center. This program is a center-based school servicing students who have severe multiple impairments within Kent County, Michigan between the ages of five to 26 years. Cathy has worked her entire 22-year career in this setting. She is a certified Mobility Opportunities Via Education (MOVE™) International Trainer since 2001. She has provided numerous MOVE Basic Provider’s trainings throughout her career, as well as advanced training to empower her staff to implement the MOVE program through an ever-changing educational environment. Cathy presents at the Michigan MOVE Clinic which has been providing advanced MOVE training and networking for school staff and therapists in Michigan since 2008. Since 2020, Cathy has partnered with Rifton to develop instructional videos for consumer education. Cathy is a member of the APTA Section of Pediatrics and Michigan Physical Therapy Association.
