I received my physical therapy degree in 1984 from SUNY Downstate (now The State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn).  Since then I have been working with individuals with developmental disabilities—early intervention through adult—practicing in Ohio, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. In 1992, I became a consultant to Cerebral Palsy of Westchester in New York, writing and implementing physical therapy protocols in the areas of positioning and ambulation.
