More than a patient lift system, the Rifton TRAM combines three powerful functions in one device:

  • A caregiver uses the Rifton TRAM portable lift to execute a seated transfer of a middle-aged, heavyset woman from her bed into her wheelchair.
  • An elderly man is lifted from a sitting to a standing position with his feet on the floor, by his caregiver with the help of the Rifton TRAM.
  • A tall man in his forties takes steps down a hallway, supported by the Rifton TRAM and assisted by a caregiver.
