The pad, which covers backrest and seat, provides comfortable cushioning and can aid in correct positioning. If you are choosing the high backrest for your client, a high pad is available.

A high backrest can be used to provide extra trunk support. It is installed in front of the chair's regular backrest and extends 24" above the seat. A pair of lateral blocks, included with the high backrest, can be positioned to provide either head or upper body support.

A Rifton Toddler chair can be placed on this ingenious chair dolly to make it mobile. With a client seated in the chair, the dolly can be pushed by a caregiver to the next activity. The casters can then be locked in place.

The mini wedge can provide extra trunk support or lower back support as needed. It is placed against the Toddler chair's backrest.

The oblong abduction block helps prevent leg scissoring and aids good sitting posture by keeping the client's pelvis towards the back of the chair. It is 2" by 4" so can give either 2" or 4" of abduction depending on the way it is positioned.

A pair of sandals can be fastened to the Toddler chair's footrests to provide positioning for the feet, aiding in abduction and prevention of scissoring. Three sizes are available, independent of the Toddler chair size. See the bottom of the Rifton Toddler chair sizes & dimensions chart to choose the appropriate sandal size for your client.

The trunk support vest can provide added stability to clients with poor balance and upper body control. The velcro closings can be adjusted to fit the client's trunk.

It is possible to order the Rifton Toddler chair with a tray that can be used for mealtimes, therapy tasks, or playtime activities. Designed to be easily cleanable without food-trapping areas, the chair's tray comes in either clear or cream.
