The National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART) has recently released a short video: NCART Complex Rehab Technology – Essential for Health. Essential for Life, that I want to bring to your attention.
I think it’s important because this video does the best job I’ve seen of explaining why complex rehab is so important to people with profound disabilities. In a time when our government is desperately trying to cut costs there are many people who are going to suffer because they can’t get the rehab equipment they truly need. This video tells their story through their eyes and in their own words. It deserves to be seen as widely as possible.
